CVSA gets a new principal - mid year

FYI - Received an email from Tony Carey:

January 6, 2010

Dear Parents:

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We are excited and ready to get back to work, but wanted to make you aware of a development that occurred over the break.

Secondary principal Paul Trautwein has informed us that he is leaving Carbon Valley Academy to take some personal time. We appreciate the work that he has done for us and wish him well in the future. Sherri Stephens-Carter, whom many of you know, has agreed to serve as interim secondary principal. We greatly appreciate her willingness to step in and we know she will do an outstanding job. Sherri possesses outstanding credentials and is an excellent fit for our school.

I will be available tomorrow should you have any questions. I look forward to working with you and your students as we complete another successful school year.

Thanks for the info here. Since we have lacking information and or news sources for this area. It is good to hear about some of these changes that affect our community, and also to give credit to those who work to make this a better area.
